I love when rain falls like wet curtains, layer
after layer or perfectly shaped individual drops.
It is so easy to think of rain as a collective
unit, one consistent and omnipresent mass. It is
so easy to forget that each raindrop is falling
alone to the earth for the first time.
So too are we.
Always falling alone, but part of something so
much bigger, so much more beautiful than we could
ever be alone.
-Tyler Knott Gregson-
Yes. I love this. I find it so beautiful, because I really do love rain. I adore it. It nourishes and feeds, but it is also wild and dangerous. It awes me how small I am when rain torrents outside the window, for God is in control of everything, and that above all is what I love about rain.
Stand in awe and sin not : commune with your own heart upon your bed and be still. Selah.
